Peppered Beef and Crispy Noodles stir fry

  • 4 tbsps rice bran oil
  • 500g beef stir fry strips
  • 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 bunch snake beans, sliced
  • 1 bunch baby bok choy, sliced
  • 3tbsps Changs Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp raw sugar
  • 1 tbsp Changs Hoisin Sauce
  • 2x100g packets Changs Original Fried noodles


  1. Heat a wok over high heat, add 1/2 the oil and beef strips, in batches, for 2 minutes.
  2. Transfer to a plate. Heat remaining oil in the wok and add onion, garlic and pepper, stir fry for 2 minutes or until, onion is softened. Add beans and bok choy to the wok and stir fry a further 3 minutes.
  3. Combine soy sauce, sugar and hoisin sauce in the wok with 2tbsps cold water and toss to combine well.
  4. Return beef to the wok with the noodles, tossing again to combine and serve garnished with lime wedges, sliced red chilli and fried shallots if desired.
