- Begin by combining Chang’s Hoisin Sauce, Sesame Oil sea salt and pepper in a wide bowl. Add the mushrooms to the marinade and using a pastry brush coat all sides of the mushrooms. Allow to sit for 10 minutes only.
- In the meantime, using a sharp knife slice the green onion into thin strips and soak in cold water. This helps them curl.
- Place mushrooms on a pan grill or BBQ on high heat and cook each side until it begins to brown. Brush more marinade if needed.
- Serve over a bed of steamed rice along with some strips of green onion, a sprinkle of sesame seeds and chilli flakes and an extra drizzle of Chang’s Sesame Oil.

Variation in Serving Suggestion: Serve the Mushrooms over Chinese Style Pancakes along with the green onion, sesame seeds, chilli flakes and finely sliced cucumber sticks.
