Spiced Chicken with Couscous and Noodle Salad

  • 1 tsp ground Chinese five spice
  • 2 tsps ground cumin
  • 2 tbsps Chang’s Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 tbsps Chang’s Sesame Oil
  • 4 x 200g skinless chicken breast fillets
  • 11/2 cups couscous
  • 250g mixed medley tomatoes or cherry tomatoes, chopped
  • 2/3 cup mint leaves, torn
  • 2/3 cup coriander leaves
  • 1 packet Chang’s Original Fried Noodles
  • 1/2 cup Chang’s Oriental Salad Dressing


  1. Combine five spice, cumin, sauce, oil and chicken in a large bowl and mix well to combine. Refrigerate, covered, for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat a chargrill pan over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 5 minutes each side until golden and cooked through. Set aside and keep warm.
  3. Cook couscous according to directions on packet. Combine couscous, tomatoes, mint, coriander and noodles together in a large bowl. Serve with the chicken and drizzle with dressing just before serving.
