Chinese Chicken Skewers

Marinating time:2+ hours


  • 6 boneless chicken thighs, trimmed of excess fat and cut into 2-3cm pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 thumb ginger, peeled and grated
  • 3 tbsp. Chang’s Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 tbsp. tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp. Chang’s Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 red capsicum, cut into 2cm pieces
  • 1 green capsicum, cut into 2cm pieces


  1. Combine all ingredients except spring onions in a bowl and marinate covered in the fridge for 2-4 hours.
  2. Thread the chicken and capsicum onto pre-soaked marinated skewers and cook over low/medium heat on the char grill until just cooked through.
  3. Serve with steamed rice and Chinese greens.
