Ingredients:
- 1 packet Chang's Thai Style Rice Noodles
For Garlic Chilli Oil
- 2 teaspoons Chang's Original Hoisin Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Chang's Gluten Free Tamari Light Soy Sauce
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 2 spring onion, green and white part sliced separately
- 3 teaspoons red chilli flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon Chinese black vinegar or substitute with rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
Topping
- green part of spring onion
- 1 teaspoon toasted white sesame seed
Method:
Preparing the Noodles:
- Prepare noodles according to packet instructions.
Make the garlic chilli oil
- In a heatproof bowl, add all the ingredients for the garlic chilli oil EXCEPT the vegetable oil.
- Heat the oil in a small pan until it starts to smoke and carefully pour the hot oil over all the ingredients in the bowl. Once the oil has settled down, give the chilli oil a stir.
Assembly
- Drain the noodles well and place it into a large bowl.
- Add the garlic chilli oil, chopped green part of the spring onion, and mix until the noodles are well coated. Sprinkle toasted white sesame seeds. Serve immediately while it's hot.
