20-Minute Garlic Beef with Lo-Cal Noodles

20-Minute Garlic Beef with Lo-Cal Noodles

Approx. 120g protein total (30g per serve)

Chilli Oil, Thinly sliced Spring green onions, Sesame seeds and Coriander.

Method:

  1. Prepare the noodles and make the sauce:
    Rinse and drain the Lo-Cal Noodles according to the packet instructions. Set aside.
    In a small bowl, combine tamari, hoisin, brown sugar, ground ginger, chilli flakes, cornflour, water. Mix well to form the sauce.
  2. Brown the beef:
    Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add beef mince and cook until browned, breaking it up as you go. Add the onion and garlic, and cook for a further 3-4 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  3. Simmer and thicken:
    Pour the sauce into the pan with the beef mixture. Stir well and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened and glossy. Taste and add seasoning if needed.
  4. Add the noodles:
    Add the drained noodles to the pan and toss through the beef mixture until evenly coated and heated through.
  5. Serve:
    Drizzle with chilli oil and top with spring onions, sesame seeds, and coriander. Serve hot.
