Ingredients:
- 2 x packets Chang's Traditional Super Lo-Cal Noodles, rinsed and drained
- 500g lean beef mince
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 large brown onion, thinly sliced
- 8 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 tablespoons Chang's Gluten Free Tamari Light Soy Sauce
- 4 tablespoons Chang's Original Hoisin Sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ teaspoon chilli flakes
- 2 teaspoons cornflour
- 3 tablespoons water
- Salt and pepper, to taste
To Serve with:
Chilli Oil, Thinly sliced Spring green onions, Sesame seeds and Coriander.
Method:
- Prepare the noodles and make the sauce:
Rinse and drain the Lo-Cal Noodles according to the packet instructions. Set aside.
In a small bowl, combine tamari, hoisin, brown sugar, ground ginger, chilli flakes, cornflour, water. Mix well to form the sauce. - Brown the beef:
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add beef mince and cook until browned, breaking it up as you go. Add the onion and garlic, and cook for a further 3-4 minutes until softened and fragrant. - Simmer and thicken:
Pour the sauce into the pan with the beef mixture. Stir well and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened and glossy. Taste and add seasoning if needed. - Add the noodles:
Add the drained noodles to the pan and toss through the beef mixture until evenly coated and heated through. - Serve:
Drizzle with chilli oil and top with spring onions, sesame seeds, and coriander. Serve hot.
